why do i have to sign up twice why can't you just have us sign up once for adult fanfiction dot net and have that be for both the archives and forum

For a start, they are separate databases, so the information from the archives does not necessarily transfer over to the forums. Both registrations are quick and easy, providing you follow the instructions, so it really shouldn't be difficult.

The databases are not linked at all. The member file setups in each program is vastly different, so there is no real way to bridge one application to the other for registration.
