@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:33 PM) Ah, nevermind, Anesor's back.
@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:33 PM) Yeah, figured it'd be difficult to scare off staff by just mentioning a pairing... but I do wonder where Anesor fled to. XD
@ Anesor : (22 May 2013 - 10:33 PM)
well, the detail is far enough outside my area I don't have anything to say

@ RogueMudblood : (22 May 2013 - 10:33 PM) LOL! Nope. Just off again. :P
@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:31 PM) Did I scare everyone away by mentioning of the pairings in case?
@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:23 PM) Wait, there isn't a Severus/Regulus category, so it's a case between Sirius/Regulus or the HP Slash domain, further unsorted
@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:23 PM) In case you were referring to my question for Rogue, the subdomain wouldn't be much of a problem. Harry Potter -> Slash. The problem is the pairing category. Oh well, first write/finish the damn thing. Should be easier to judge where it belongs then... I -hope-

Rogue: Correct. Though it's a case of Severus/Regulus vs. Sirius/Regulus.
@ Anesor : (22 May 2013 - 10:21 PM) Maybe punk is more a style than a color? A punk is still a punk if all in blue or all in black.
@ RogueMudblood : (22 May 2013 - 10:21 PM) Oh, I took her as meaning that this was a question of Harry/Draco versus Harry/Snape sorting. (as an example, of course)
@ DemonGoddess061 : (22 May 2013 - 10:20 PM) heya
@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:19 PM) Hey DG
@ RogueMudblood : (22 May 2013 - 10:19 PM) Interesting =/= attractive. :P
@ DemonGoddess061 : (22 May 2013 - 10:19 PM) If it's in the wrong subdomain entirely, we delete 'em
@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:18 PM) Too true
@ Anesor : (22 May 2013 - 10:17 PM) eww, that is enough to give a headache
@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:16 PM) Toxic green with hot pink stripes?
@ Anesor : (22 May 2013 - 10:14 PM) hmm, would punk be a pink? I would think punk would be an angry bileous green
@ SillySilenia : (22 May 2013 - 10:14 PM) Rogue: Ah, the "innocent" whistle. :P
@ RogueMudblood : (22 May 2013 - 10:13 PM) @Anesor I dunno, punk could be an interesting color; and thankee! We do try for bitter humor with those.
@ RogueMudblood : (22 May 2013 - 10:13 PM) @SillySilenia   :bat:

So, there was a story in the AFF archive that you want to read but is now gone, and now you want someone from the forum to send you a copy of it? And by 'copy', you're referring to an actual file, such as a TXT file, DOC file, PDF file, etc? Now you want to know if that's allowed?

It's not.

There's two main reasons why a story in the archive is no longer there. Firstly, AFF staff might have removed it because it broke one or more of our Terms of Service rules, such as the person was a minor when they wrote and uploaded it. Another reason is that the author might have removed the story themselves, for a variety of reasons.

So what's the big deal, you say? The big deal is that, regardless of who removed the story, it was done so because it was no longer meant to be read, at least on AFF servers. You need to either respect our wishes, or the wishes of the author.
